DVD 5202 LA SONNAMBULA (Bellini)

I love La Sonnambula,I even sang in it 30 years ago here in the UK,and up to now I have based my thoughts on this Opera by Sutherland/Pavarotti singing it,I will have to change my views now.Anderson has the top of Sutherland,but seems a mite more gentle,and "pathetic"in the role.Gimenez is a very good Elvino,and Scandiuzzi(is he here at the start of his International career,he looks very young)sings"IL Conte superbly,another traditional production(Hurrah!)
