This Concert was greatly looked forward to by all lovers of fine singing,and also the gossip-mongers who had heard the "spats"that these 2 great artists Had had in the past,in truth it was all very civilised,the singing magnificent,the be-gowned Divas on their best behavior,alternating in the top line in the duets,also each singing their favourite Soprano arias,it was an evening of splendour,both visually and aurily.
